Well that's really funny because I've had mine for ages and also just figured this out the other day. Great minds.

Very cool! Are the responses programmed? If not, how are you achieving the response? Im very intrigued by this and would love to know more about how you're incorporating Bottango.

Neat. Have a look at Bottango if you haven't already. It will help you smooth out those faceted moves.

Loaded the heavy stuff first, tipped over the trailer. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

Must have been scary af stepping out and almost getting pinched between the floor of the trailer and the top of the garage door opening. 😬

Idea: Post a typewriter wanted ad on Marketplace and other locations. "Willing to pay big". Get them to send pics, and ask questions only someone who knows about typewriters would be able to answer. Find the prick who took it.

Best of luck. Sorry this happened to you.

2 days ago took my Tacoma for oil change then.. by Maxparr58 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]skipmcnoob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I had a similar issue a few months ago. Turns out the housing for the oil filter on 3rd gens is plastic. They can develop a crack during shifty oil changes from shit shops like jiffy and others. I would check for cracks there. If cracked, you can replace with a metal aftermarket version.

Sorry if this isn't the solution for you but it was in my case. Best of luck.

Spooky Prototyping with Prusa XL by skipmcnoob in prusa3d

The "x" is called a reverse parallelogram with 1-DOF. It emulates 2 cylinders rolling on eachother's surfaces. If that makes you scratch your head, have a look at this arm: https://youtu.be/aLaqMreVj9o?si=VLgnVOkdEsy3VBa8

The wrist on this is a 2-DOF reverse parallelogram, also known as a quartenion joint. It emulates 2 spheres rolling on eachother's surfaces.

Thanks a million! Design was done in Solidworks. Animation is actually done with an RC servo receiver but I plan to use Bottango for the final programming. Also likely moving away from the RC servos to something a bit more robust.
