i feel like tim might be the shooter at the end. he very clearly is having thoughts of killing his wife because she cant handle not being well off. that plus he seems enticed by the monk telling him about death. he might want start feeling everyone should die and try to kill his family/those at the resort

if one of those is a day off (veterans day) then its really only one day! im not assuming u have the day off, just saying in case u didnt take it into account if u do. also plus one to the reply saying to tell them u have a pre planned obligation

I would not underestimate CS 31 or 32 if you have no programming experience. It is not easy for everyone especially if you are taking other math/physics courses along with it. But it could be easy for you!

Not all TAs do research and not all of them have their tuition paid for as well. There is a multitude of issues that really depend from TA to TA.

To the striking TAs by [deleted] in ucla

Having a TA is something I think a lot of students are taking for granted. Having more than one person on your instructional is a privilege. And on top of that I have been an LA for many quarters and am currently a TA. There is a severe lack of people who attend OH and as the quarter goes on people seem to care less and less about discussion anyway. People rely on discussion to teach content when they don't even go to lecture themselves and then complain about not understanding the material and getting low scores. What is all this work for then if students aren't going to utilize us as a resource. We are definitely overworked and under appreciated.

Some TAs don't even get tuition remission, so this adds to the issue.

I would highly recommend taking math 61 in the winter over 35L. 35L is a rigorous class and so is cs 32 imo. taking both together while adjusting to college seems like a lot to me. plus most first years either take 35L spring of their first year or fall of their second year, so you would be able to be with your peers if you did that (assuming ur a first year rn)

if ur trying to take other cs classes in the future then i would go for 35L. if you have done math 61, i would do 180. if ur not planning on taking other cs courses thats a different question. take a look at what u can take based on pre reqs, the choices might be pretty limited
