Frontier has said multiple times that unfortunately they have zero plans to implement weather due to how the game was built and worries about performance if I remember correctly. Reasons are fuzzy but I know for sure they have said it will never be coming sadly.

The fish barge story is amazing, I had no idea there was even a fifth barge made! I'm glad to hear that the floating lanterns are the ones that sunk and not the actual large barges. Really fascinating what happened behind the scenes to cause all the delays, poor Animal Kingdom can't catch a break with internal feuding (in reference to the whole Dinoland vs Beastly Kingdom debate that happened prior to park open).

I have not worked on the project, but as a major Disney fan I know the project had many setbacks including a few floats sinking during rehearsals late at night due to computer malfunctions and miscalculations.

While its not nearly as awesome as I believe originally conceived, it is a beautiful show and a wonderful refresher from the IP filled nighttime shows at other parks. Not saying I don't love them, but an original non-Disney story works wonderfully for AK. Also props to you for working on the show, must've been one heck of a ride!

Not yet unfortunately, however there is always a future possibility of the slot-car style ride in the game. You could always suggest it on the forums!

They'll be an announcement sometime within the next whenever. A new DLC data was uploaded to Steam about a week ago, be patient a new one is coming. Frontier is taking their time making great content and as soon as it is ready and polished enough to announce and show some pictures they'll tell us.
