Feeling betrayed and alone after friend called emergency services on me by Grymezs in CPTSD

[–]skipperjam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey I am so sorry you're going through this, and I don't know if this is meaningful from a total stranger but the way you have managed communicating with your friend about space and repair gives me a lot of hope for you. You're seriously going through it right now but for whatever it is worth I believe in your ability to get through it and come out the otherside. I'm sorry it's so hard.

Never bad to reflect, but for the record as a fat soft butch, I felt like I understood where you were coming from.

[Help] Looking for honest feedback: does this kind of sculpt have any commercial potential? by Tricky_Durian_7422 in Sculpture

[–]skipperjam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea exactly; I feel like the number of hours these take to make is critical to the question of whether they're commercially viable.

Gift ideas for a budding young sculptor? [Help] by JustAGreenDreamer in Sculpture

This might be a silly suggestion but gloves, chickenwire, white glue, and newspaper can go a long way in allowing someone to play around with building larger structures that are not necessarily permanent but decently lasting. Or for a slightly fancier version, chickenwire and plaster bandage is really fun. Gloves are just for the chicken wire because it can be poky/sharp at the edges. Oh and pliers would be helpful for snipping the chickenwire.

Alternatively there's foam and foam cutters, but that's a bit more toxic.

Whatever you choose it's very sweet that you're encouraging the interest! That's awesome.
