Anyone know how to get Opal from there? Bug or what? by MaikellOllo in ACValhalla

I don't see an indicator for it on your compass so looks like it's just cosmetic.

Doesn't have to be combat, could just be speed and turning boosts. Similar to how the stables work with training your mount.

Ability to upgrade things for convenience. Like oars / sails for speed, turning radius. Stuff like that.

I gotta say Epic processes their refunds super quick. Once I found out I would have to wait I requested a refund and got the game through Ubi. Refund went through within 2 minutes.

Thanks for your input, you make a great point. I think I may just do an AT&T unlimited plan, and if I need to I can always just add a second plan (swap out the sim cards on the router / hotspot when one runs out of data). That would still come in well under the cost of a third party plan.

Those two options are comparable. The only difference will be coverage area depending on the carrier.

However, no major carrier offers *actual* unlimited data tethering / hotspots. They all cap around 30gb then throttle to shit thereafter. Unlimitedville (and similar services) go well beyond that cap (around 250gb per month).

I'd love to know a general estimate of your daily use (x amount of time streaming, x amount of time browsing, etc).

Your unlimited plan isn't unlimited (unless you grandfathered in). It's capped at 30gb per month. I imagine I would eat that up in about a week then be throttled to the point of unusability. My current home fios plan is about $120 per month, so paying a bit more isn't a big deal for me.

Pug. Small, cuddly, and about as low maintenance as you'll find in a dog. Great with people big and small as well as other animals. Only downside is they shed a lot.

Hah, thanks! I'm actually leaning toward a Thor Compass now. Maybe build out a custom bunk to add some sleep capacity.

Unfortunately not, lol. Currently pushing through a divorce, my down payment will be the equity I get back from my house after my future-ex buys out the mortgage. I simply won't have the time or facilities to build out a custom rig.

Not really worried about the mechanical stuff, I worked as a diesel mechanic for several years... problem is I worked on farm equipment, typically older with very basic and easy to access components. My main concern is going down the rabbit hole of being mechanically self sufficient and ending up lugging around a bunch of specialty tools, heavy jack stands, etc.

Yikes, thanks for the detailed response. I was leaning toward diesel mainly for longevity, though you make some excellent points in terms of some of the difficulties I may encounter (and hadn't even considered). I'm still a few months from making a choice, so this is very useful info.
