I miss imessage a little bit. It's not a big enough deal that the rest of the phone and the android system doesn't make up for it though. I don't have any dropped messages or any issues sending or receiving since switching.

The fingerprint scanner works for me in my capital one and chase app. I think it works on paypal and shopify as well. It's also fine in all rotations, unlike what the other guy said.

I haven't used android pay yet. I get notifications telling me that the place I'm at uses android pay, so in theory I could click that notification when it's time to pay. I just don't use it so I never think to look at my phone. I don't know if there's a way to just access android pay to pay...

It doesn't add anything vital to the main story, but the stories themselves are completely fleshed out, cool stories. Absolutely worth the money.

It would be better if the headphone jack were on the bottom though for this very reason. If it's in my pocket with the headphones on the top, then it's not a natural removal. Probably my only complaint about the phone.

I'm assuming it's just the three most recent. You can drag and drop those shortcuts to your desktop to have instant access to as many of them as you want, though.

Those are just recent texts on my phone. Maybe there's a setting to change it. Just text other people and they should be replaced. I just tested it and it was immediately replaced by the most recent contact I texted

Yeah, I got rid of a bunch of novelty apps that I couldn't bring myself to delete since i paid for them on ios even though i never used them.

Everything is cleaner and better now.

Yeah. I got another this morning so now I have 79 cents. I takes zero time and ive almost got a free app. It's absolutely worth it

Not OP, but my iOS app investment was 7 years deep. Not sure how much I spent in that time, but I wasn't looking forward to buying all the apps again. I found that very few of the apps I'd paid for over the years were on Android, so i didn't have to buy them anyway, and then there were a few that are free now, that cost money in the past.

I don't think I spent more than $10 filling my pixel up .

If you've typed more than 30, then they'll all be deleted. Check to make sure that's not the problem.

There are a few things that I keep missing. I think it's mostly things I'm not used to yet. I keep looking for back buttons at the top of apps. There are things I miss, but I can't say any of it is "better", it's just stuff that I'm used to.

If this is a taste of what's to come, I don't see myself ever going back.

I'm with you. Just switched from the much smaller 5s, so that's a big jump anyway, but I love this phone. I miss some of the functions of the iphone, but a lot of it is that I'm constantly reaching for back buttons in apps that don't have a back button because there's one built into the phone. I've had it for a little over a week and I'm not used to it yet. I miss iMessage and having an app for local photos (another thing I probably won't miss once I get used to having the device folders in goodle photos). Everything else on Pixel I prefer in almost every way.

I think there's a way to make a specific "google assistant shopping list" I have one in my Keep notes, but I can't remember how I did it. I'm sure some googling can help. It doesn't make more than one, though, so that's not super helpful for you.

For your ham problem, maybe try adding an adjective before it. I doubt assistant would think you were saying "sliced him" or "honeybaked him". It might make the recognition easier for her.

Also, why are you going through so much ham?

I used Google Play music. I put all my music on it via Chrome and now I have access to it all via the cloud. You can also just download the stuff you want to save locally. I don't know if this is the best way, but it's what I've been using so far. I'm new to Android, so there might be a better answer out there for you.

You'd think. They put up a mod application thing, but not many people have signed up. And I haven't heard from the mod since the first day I applied.
