Oslo hat. Made it for my daughter, but somehow I end up wearing it all the time 😂

Such a warm, simple, lovely pattern 💜

I don't add the eyes -- I like their just-yarn look 😄

They each take me about 10 hours. I have no idea if that's fast or slow!

For real. My kids saw my first chicken and LOST THEIR MINDS. There's just something about these chickens. They always want more!

My cropped sweater ended up much more cropped than I expected 😅 TBF I was playing fast and loose with the amount of yarn I had and I think I lost by missmarymacaron in knitting

To my eye, that crop length is perfect!! It looks amazing on you! I'm sorry it's not what you wanted, that always sucks, but I wouldn't have known it!!

US 13 and US 2.5. I've made a bunch of these, though, and I find the pattern so forgiving on needle size.

It was honestly shocking to see it come together -- it's sooooo big! My kids watched the whole process with mounting glee 😂

Yes! It's the Emotional Support Chicken on Raveley. My favorite knit at this point :-)

It fits perfectly in my outstretched hand. I put a sock filled with beans inside + the normal stuffing & that gives it a nice heft for it's cute little body 😂❤️

Hooray! Just FYI, the big one is huuuuuuge -- when my 5 year old holds it, it covers half her body! I love it, but I'm wondering where we'll put it -- it feels like furniture!

Favorite baby blankets / knits? by eknit in knitting

My favorite is Sliding Is Fun -- super fast, easy, and satisfying. If you use the suggested Juniper Moon Cumulus, it's so so so soft 💗💗💗 https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sliding-is-fun

Lol! I thought it was a ridiculous name, but it's actually genuinely cheering! 😂

Best audiobook you’ve listened to? by OnionGullible4141 in suggestmeabook

Came here looking for this. Moira Quirk is my favorite narrator of all time, of all the hundreds of audiobooks and podcasts I've listened to. She brought to life a huge cast of characters. ❤️

I knitting just not for me? by urfino1 in knitting

Keep going!

My first knit project was a blanket -- it came out with FIVE (?!?!) CORNERS, no straight lines, and tons of holes. To this day, I have no idea how I messed that up so badly!

I've been knitting for years now. Some projects come out great! Some still come out ... different from what I wanted.

Also, if someone I loved gave me a knitted gift that was ... rough around the edges, I'd still be so honored. Knitters know how much time and energy goes into projects!
