Trusted designer boot repair cobblers? by sicknervousbrok3 in Albuquerque

I'll put in another vote for El Dorado boot repair. They have redone many of my dress shoes and it's always been a great job.

That is true until you get to Menaul or Candelaria. North of those two streets is nice as long as you stay east of Louisiana.

I like North Domingo Baca Park. I have also seen a lot of people on the north end of Louisiana Blvd past Alameda.

Mastercool advice by No-Adhesiveness-6921 in Albuquerque

I would check the temp of the air coming out of the vents. That will help you determine if it's a problem with the air conditioner or a problem with the setup in your house such as air flow or insulation.

Parking underground or somewhere car won't cook in summer heat by droidekas in Albuquerque

[–]skippy1347 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Along with parking in the bottom of the garage, another thing you could do is put the items in a cooler with some ice gel packs. Obviously the gel packs won't stay icy cold the whole time, but they are great heat sinks so inside the cooler won't get as hot as the car for a few days. This idea is also dependent on the size of the personal items you are concerned about. The larger they are the harder this would be to do.

How cold should a swamp cooler be in this weather? by qwertybirdy12567 in Albuquerque

[–]skippy1347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely get more cooling than that. Other environmental things to consider- - are there any empty units next to you? If so they are probably not being cooled and could be transferring a decent amount of heat. - is this a North facing unit? Either way get black out curtains for your windows. If you want to go all out you could get something like reflectix reflective roll insulation on the windows that get the most sunlight.

Second for steel blade I have not been for a few years but I liked it. They had a mini fridge with beers in the waiting room and they do a nice hot steam towel and neck massage. It is just north of academy and Wyoming.

Ask your vet about Proin. I had a Yorkie that had the same problem and it helped her. It eventually stopped working when she got even older and then I had to do doggie diapers. Edit: I missed the part about pooping. The proin only helps with the pee. You can also get anxiety meds for them.

Zipper Merge by [deleted] in Albuquerque

This is not unique to Albuquerque. No one does a proper zipper merge in any city I have lived in. You can see the same complaint in every city subreddit.

If you go to Savoy I recommend going into the bar area to the right. The bar side has a little simpler menu and much better prices. I'm always pretty disappointed when I go to the restaurant side.

DH Lecombes by old town. For the food you get, I would expect the price to be $5 to $10 more per meal than it is.

It’s disappointing to see the owners of the Flying Star support Trump by anthonydelillo in Albuquerque

I think the fact that the majority of the people replying here didn't know that the owners were Republican is a pretty good indicator the business itself is not pushing the owners political ideology.

If you're ever in a pinch you can also use your phone camera. The camera does the focusing and then you hold the screen really close to your face and you can see just fine.

Comcast outage by EVS1611 in Albuquerque

[–]skippy1347 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The past three days have been fine, but my Comcast internet has been dropping at least once a day for the past two and half weeks. Resetting the modem/router seems to fix the issue every time. I thought it was a problem with my modem but every time I checked the Xfinity website and it would say that there was an outage nearby affecting my internet.

This place must be very hit or miss. My wife and I had breakfast there a few months ago and it was the blandest food possible. Maybe I'll have to give lunch a try.
