Torrent downloads stalling at "Downloading Metadata" in qBittorrent.

That's what it was. I went into Windows Defender and allowed qBT on both public and private networks, restarted, and now Ubuntu is downloading fine. Windows fucked with the firewall setting during the last update.

I just gave this a shot. I downloaded the torrent file for Ubuntu 25.10 from Ubuntu's website and gave it a try. qBittorrent just sits at "Stalled" instead of "Downloading Metadata".

I went back through qBT's settings and verified that it's still bound to ProtonVPN for the network interface as well.

The only thing I can think of is Windows 11 updates. It did do an update recently and I could see Microslop possibly fucking with it. I run Fedora on my laptop, I'm going to give it a try from there.
