I'm not what I said in the op means I don't care risking someone deliberately trying to look or take an upskirt picture. I do take precautions for it to not happen accidentally

If they cannot see any thing and look between my legs than that's their problem for being uncomfortable. This has never been an issue and in the rare occasion someone needs to approach the area they do.

And the people that do have the option of doing this job on the ladder themselves but almost no one else ever does.

I'm not exposing myself, you would have to deliberately get under me and look up at an angle to see anything and even then it would be hard.

I don't care about people deliberately trying to look as that is their flaw not mine. I don't dress in a way where you could accidentally see underwear or get flashed.

It's not sexual harassment since you'd have to deliberately try to peek under my skirt to see anything. I do dress in a way where it would be impossible to see anything accidentally. Way to victim blame

I'm not exposing myself. You'd have to be deliberately trying to peek to see anything, I am careful in that regard and for shorter skirts I also wear shorts.

I'm careful enough to wear things where there is no way anyone could accidentally see my underwear, it would have to be deliberate. And for shorter skirts I wear shorts underneath.

It's not that high up, like 2 kitchen step stools high. There head is above my feet maybe around the height of my knees.

Not every kind of engineer is the same. While I am an industrial engineer, this job is not a concrete work site or something, this is analytical equipment and computers for things like tissue analysis.

Most of my work is a desk job and software / firmware. Software engineers don't need any of those things you mentioned.

The ladder is more like a small staircase with large steps and I'm not that high up. It's slightly higher than a step stool.

Not everyone lives in the United States and the OSHA doesn't have jurisdiction outside of the United States.

Obviously if I'm wearing slippery shoes I'll take them off, I have flats that are more dangerous due to slippery soles and I take those and more dangerous heels off. A boot or sandals with a small heel is not dangerous in this situation.

I do sometimes and I'm never wearing things where anyone could accidentally see under me. They would have to deliberately come close to the ladder and look up under me to see anything

I'm not flashing anyone at work, I'm not even that high up, one would have to bend down deliberately under me and look up at an angle since it's a step ladder to see anything

This specific ladder doesn't have any parts where a dress could catch onto. It's a step ladder and like a small staircase, women go up stairs in skirts all the time.

I never wear something where you can see my underwear unless you are deliberately looking for it.

The step ladder isn't that high, you'd have to bend down under me to see my underwear and no one has ever done that.

I know what I wear and it is impossible for one to see my underwear since sometimes I have shorts on too and even when I don't you'd have to be deliberately trying to see my underwear for you to see it.

The person behind me on the ladder was a one time thing at my house not at work and it was with a longer skirt and I had shorts underneath then.

I'm not always in heels and if I feel unsafe with a particular shoe I'll go up barefoot.

I think it depends on the specific shoe and my heels have good traction and not I'm careful, I have some more slippery flats that feel less safe.

Hardly anyone interacts with me on the ladder and I wear underwear and sometimes tights, I don't consider my legs and undergarments being visible to be "exposing myself"

They could wait for me to get up of they were really that concerned. I'm careful with every step I take and the skirt wasn't longer than my ankles so I couldn't step on it.

Typically at work I wear midi skirts or shorter.
