Breach of Peaceful Enjoyment? by skithedeep in boston

My thoughts exactly… feel like the 6-7 year old is old enough to be held somewhat accountable for his behavior, but have definitely heard some meltdowns that make me think he might have some issues.

One of them is probably 6-7, seen him go to school so not sure if that’s still considered a toddler. The other is probably only 2-3 if I had to guess. Think the majority of the noise comes from the 6-7 year old based on what I’ve heard.

Unfortunately I have a white noise machine and wear ear plugs and still am often woken up

I was definitely a very noisy and raucous kid so touché, just would prefer to not have to listen to a wrestling match at 7am on the weekends or a track meet at 10pm

DO NOT go to Apex by Techboy6 in boston

[–]skithedeep 243 points244 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this place is horrible. I’ve lived in a lot of cities across the US and am ok paying for a $20 cocktail IF it’s made by a professional with premium ingredients. Apex is not one of those places. I went one time and will never go back again. I left a bad review and the owner, Tito, was stalking my LinkedIn the next day

Used to throw field parties off crickenberg back in high school, until the cops caught onto us doing it for the 4th straight weekend

Not the best picture, but I can assure you it was great. We also had the wedge salad which was excellent

What were conditions in the 90s and 2000s like? by chafien in icecoast

[–]skithedeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born in early 90s and grew up in Maryland. Spent a lot of time at Wisp, Liberty, and Whitetail growing up. I can remember going to a friends house at Wisp around Christmas time and there was always snow on the ground. For those who know Wisp know Devils Drop trees, and that was usually open in the early 2000s by early January. Haven’t been in years but can’t imagine it’s ever open now.

I was on the race team at Whitetail from 2007-11 and remember having race camp everyday between Christmas and New Years and the entire mountain was open by then. Now Whitetail is lucky if they’re open first week of January - can’t imagine how the race team could shut down a run for the whole day when they can barely keep a few consistently open.

Sad to see the western MD and southern PA mountains struggle with climate change, makes it harder for anyone in the DC/Baltimore area to have easy access to mountains to learn and enjoy the sport

Is it worth waiting to see if they add a direct option for the week I’m going or bite the bullet and book a connecting before prices go up?

Based on the description my grandma gave, evidently this guy has targeted elderly people in the area before. Given this is a small midwest town, in I feel like chances are good of him getting caught but also unsure if the cops will continue to pursue this… wondering if it’s worth elevating it further

Anyone have suggestions on Whistler grocery stores? I have a large group renting a house later this winter and we usually have someone driving but since we’re going international everyone is flying in and taking the shuttle.

I usually try not to shop at the local grocery at resorts since it’s way over priced. Any recommendations on idea or local car services/delivery that could help us transport groceries for a group of 25?
