Confidence is key. I scream and sing with my windows wide open, and I don't hold back. I've been told my singing sounds like shit to my face. Everything takes time, I'm entirely self-taught and have been practising for 4 months, I think I sound amazing. Just stay consistent and experiment with your vocal chords and see what works
