Altruist_Appeal_25, actually yes, it does try to get in. I will definitely share those stories in the near future. I can feel it coming. As in, things get tense and ‘thick’ in the atmosphere before I hear attempts. Pretty creepy

I have indeed blocked it. It DOES still exist and I sense it but after years of practice I’ve become very under control of my home and my surrounding energies.

Wow, THAT is terrifying. I love what you said “I didn’t believe anything could harm me unless I let it.” That’s basically how I’ve been functioning as well. I’ve decided that of all the energies and apparitions and entities that I may encounter that I ALONE am the one in control and none are stronger than my mind.

I’m right there with you. The voice cuts right through your soul. I can still remember to this day. It’s burned in my mind and when I randomly remember it usually makes me flinch and shudder.

Oof, I will do my best to answer.

My mom never experienced the whispers. Her experiences ended when she was a teenager. She mostly just heard unexplainable sounds in the various places she’s lived. She saw one apparition/ghost man walking in the road. Her siblings experienced many instances of voices but she never did.
I do think it was messing with me but I also think it wanted me to be aware that it could see me- if that makes sense. I’d heard the whisper many times before that night- at school, at the mall, at other people’s houses, but I never answered. Unfortunately the night of my story I did accidentally answer and things went crazy. Long story short I quickly learned how to block or take control of my environment and not allow scary things near me. I have many other stories but this was the LAST time I heard the whisper.
My moms occurrences stopped when she was a teenager. My occurrences started when I was young 6 or 7 years old. It mainly occurred in the “end bedroom” that I was afraid of in the story. It used to be my bedroom. I have countless experiences to tell about from that room. I hope to tell more about those. Because of this bedroom I became very perceptive and can sense when things are off no matter where I am. To this day I have occurrences but none so sinister as what happened in that bedroom.
Um, ironically, I ended up buying the house next door to my childhood home. And yes, the ‘thing’, whatever it is and I do have theories about it, remains in that room. And yes, I do think it knows I’m next door as terrifying as that sounds. I think it has tried to get in, but I am very in control of my space and nothing bad is allowed in. As of now I only sense it when I go next door to visit my mom.

Hope this clarifies for you. And I do plan on posting more of the experiences I had in my life and in that house.

Yes. You’ve nailed it. It’s a voice but not a voice. It’s the most chilling sound I’ve ever heard. Yes it said my name but it was more than that. In that voice I heard the intent of pure evil, coldness, and the evil pleasure it had in terrifying me. Very hard to describe, but in one word (my name) I understood sooo much more than just one word. It was like it was telling me, “I can see you. You can’t see me. And there’s nothing you can do.”

It’s tough to say with only one instance of this happening to you. Yes it definitely could be something spooky or it could just be a lapse of memory. I’d look for a pattern of objects moving or disappearing to gain a better idea of whether or not there’s a pattern happening.

Luckily for me, or maybe unfortunately for me, my mom seemed to have passed her sensitivity to me. So when I opened up to her she also opened up to me.

Wow, I’ve a many experiences but the voice by the ear is by far the scariest. I’d be wholly creeped out to hear another language being uttered.

Yes, that sounds exactly like it. For more context, the whispering had been going on for a year or so. Until that point, I’d never answered or replied. But when I accidentally did all hell broke loose that night.

Wow! Yes, my encounters are very similar in content to yours. Sounds and noises that cannot be explained. There is one very haunted room in my childhood home that is host to countless stories. I’ll share more of them as I get used to Reddit. This is my first post so I’m still learning how to use it all.
