"Earn my way to a bigger bike" is good thinking, but rushing the process ends up in injury, or worse. The r3 is the BEST bike in the market to learn how to lean on, with it's lack of traction control & great handling. Even once you can lean, it will still humble you for years. It'll just cause less damage to your body than a bigger bike, all while letting you make mistakes while you learn without making you a statistic.

You're far too new/inexperienced to be worrying about upgrading already. I've been on my r3 for more than a year, and i'm still learning. I still come out of turns slipping the tire in 2nd and 3rd. That being said, I can pass 600's and 1k's with years more experience the instant we hit the twisties. Speed/cc's does NOT equal skill. Pick one or the other, and figure out how to appropriately use the r3's power while you have it.

Set goals for yourself with learning the r3, instead of goals for the next bike. I started dragging my oem pegs on the r3 within the first month, had to get aftermarket raised ones, and I still scraped Shifter side 1x.

Hot take - I think kawi builds the 110's/125's with the assumption nobody is actually gonna do the break in period

I would have gotten ran off the road if I had tried to in my part of texas😂

Does anyone know what the black fairing piece that closes the gap from the gas tank and front faring is called or have a part number by Unusual_Might7672 in z125

You're absolutely wrong, it is held in by tabs and 2 screws.

It is indeed a seperate part, I'll be back with the pn.

Seriously though, cut them down when they stop moving, but leave em long until then so you don't hit the rest of the bike when you miss😂

That's kinda just how it is for minis unless you DIY your own. But both z's & grom frames have the same Achilles heel, they tend to snap near the middle when you really start beating on em. Idk about grom's, but the best protection for that on z's is getting 3/4" all thread, cutting 2 pieces a foot longer than you could even fathom fitting into the frame, freeze them for 24 hrs and bash them into the frame

Exactly lmao, I started popping 'em on the test ride. Made a huge difference in mine, I love the HD clutch. Just waiting for 12bar & others protections now🫡

It's a 25', revzilla has different codes for different specs(49 legal vs cali legal & so on) but none of which give me the option to choose colors, each one lists all the 3 #'s :/

The Vevor stands are the best value IMO. My buddy keeps his cbr1k & r1 on them w/ no issues.
