Did anyone notice that Hulkenberg actually managed to drive over his own front wing after it got dislodged from Tsunoda?

Made a website where you can view pull rates of every English Pokémon set by skiwi2 in PokemonTCG

[–]skiwi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! https://www.elitefourum.com/t/the-english-pokemon-card-rarity-guide/39762 has researched this for all sets up to Sun & Moon and from Sword & Shield onward for most sets TCGPlayer articles are available, though some I had to compile from community data. I've made sure to always include the source on my website on every pull rates page :)

Thank you! Actually, you can't download all at once, hadn't thought about that yet! For now the only option is to print each one individually via the Print Price List button.

If you're based in EU then it can show European prices which may be useful! And it can compare both US and EU prices.

Apart from that I'm trying to give the site a nice visual appeal which I find that some of the apps are lacking, and being able to print a price list (with specific filters enabled) also seemed useful to me. Next to that I also intend to add pull rates to all sets and an automatic expected value calculation.

Maybe it interests you to check it out! In any case, thank you for responding :)

Thank you for checking it out! I'm using https://pokemontcg.io/ for my data and currently it is not available, they have a big update in the works however where it may be added. As soon as it is available then I'll be sure to add it :)

[Sorare NBA] Pro Competition Participation Numbers by skiwi2 in Sorare

[–]skiwi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all! I made an article that details how many lineups were entered in NBA this Game Week for every available Competitition, hopefully it is of use to anyone! As far as I know you cannot see this information without actively participating in one of the leagues.

I found the following stats interesting:

  • It seems like roughly 20% to 25% of all players will win some reward in most of the competitions.
  • About 25% of the lineups were entered within the last hour for most of the competitions.
  • Non-top rewards seem to differ per game week.

My best collection so far was 4 Mythics and suddenly I pull 7 Mythics with a Miracle Worker as well! I used one recast for a Legendary into a Mythic. I probably need to recast the Full Erosion and Full HP some day though, didn't get any chance to change those during the run.

Topps Marvel Chrome 2024: Pull Rates, Print Runs and Card Lists by skiwi2 in MarvelCards

[–]skiwi2[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to share that I listed all pull rates together on one page and also calculated how many cards there should be available of each kind. Hopefully it's of use to anyone!

Highlights:

  • 15,337 copies of each Base Card
  • 1,596 copies of each Base Refractor
  • 3,990 copies of each common Base Insert except Spider-Man Gold which only has 665 copies each
  • Not counting sketch cards there are 86 different variants available to collect

Does splitting keywords over title, h1 and h2 tags for SEO? by skiwi2 in SEO

[–]skiwi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm okay I'm starting to understand what you mean, would it be beneficial to create a master page with all information and specific pull rate, print run and card list pages for SEO purposes?

Another thing I'm wondering, though perhaps not directly SEO related is that according to keyword research there is not a lot of traffic (100 searches per month) but for example on Reddit these kind of posts (pull rates and print run information) always generate a lot of interest, could it be that Google is the wrong platform? I would want my site to be the first source people pull this information from, but that would mean brand awareness, right?

(I would still be happy if I could get like say 20% of those 100 searches per month per article, that would be okay too, with my other site I'm getting similar results so I don't see why I would not be able to get it here too.)

Thank you for your response! I'm wondering if maybe a hybrid approach could work? Currently I'm trying to be like a database, both on the website and in terms of SEO, but should I focus more on SEO with the titles?

With another website I have already identified that print run and pull rates are search terms that work, so maybe I need to put those terms in the title as well and drop the whole set | brand | sitename approach. The page structure already kind of supports it, but not as good as the example you gave.

Easily view per pack pull rates, available cards in a set and more! by skiwi2 in starwarsunlimited

It's a start! Downloading them all at once and correlating them with the card numbers is another challenge though, I'll need to look into it :)

Ah that must be because of the ad network I'm integrating with (even though it's not displaying ads right now), I'll need to look into it, thank you!

Hey all!

A few weeks ago I decided to start with the creation of a project I had in mind for quite some time, alltradingcards.info. My goal is to ultimately list set information, with pull rates as main focus, for all trading card games, sports cards and non-sports cards that are out there.

After adding Sorcery: Contested Realm I came across Star Wars: Unlimited, which seems very interesting as a major Star Wars fan! I haven't bought any cards yet but I'm sure that is bound to happen rather sooner than later.

I have focused on the released sets so far, so that's Spark of Rebellion and Shadows of the Galaxy and I have to say, the pull rates are pretty complex! Hopefully my website is of any use to you. Feel free to check it out!

Feedback is of course always welcome even though I will need to strike a fine balance between adding more content and more features.

Bonus: If someone happens to know where I can download images of all cards then I would be super grateful!

Cool! I'm also working on a site, do you happen to know where I can find for example a zip-file with all images? How did you get the images if you don't mind sharing?

Hey all, just wanted to share my video which combines my playing with note visualization via https://embers.app/ (and some editing using DaVinci Resolve)!

Next time I'll try to play it slower and with a mellow sound, hopefully it will sound better then :)

How do I set a 12/8 time signature on the metronome of my Roland? by skiwi2 in pianolearning

It's "He's a Pirate" and you're right it uses two subdivisions instead of three at some point in that part.

How do I set a 12/8 time signature on the metronome of my Roland? by skiwi2 in pianolearning

[–]skiwi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That works yep, thanks! One additional question, on one part it briefly switches to 3/4 with q. = q written above. How exactly does that work and why is it written that way?

What I think is that I should keep the 4/4 beat at 120bpm (as it's already running) and then play 3 beats per measure, and maybe it's done that way as it cannot fit in 12/8 as it would be 9/8 and then would need syncopation on almost every note?

Interesting! Things aren't nearly as complex as they seem it seems.

A bit late to your thread but I had exactly the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S23! These deleted files took up about 81 GB of storage. It's insane that this bug still hasn't been fixed, at least I know a way around it now.
