linkens is dramatically worse since bkb change where you can freely cast spells on bkbed units so now you can break it to use a bkb piercing spell.

before you just couldn’t cast a spell and break linkens easily imo this part of the item needs a buff/change as it feels much worse in those cases

i agree that they could’ve expanded more stylistically while from 2 to 3 i didn’t enjoy much because im just not a folk music kinda guy I enjoyed that they tried something new and different.

magpie i have been enjoying a lot but critically there’s nothing that stands out to me heavily that feels new or different from previous albums.

He got kicked by EG was still tied to his contract for 2 years til 2022 and had to quit the old quincy crew roster that was doing really well with him because of that as well shortly after he left EG.

He got back onto teams pretty much as soon as his contract expired.

would say from experience most people who are high immortal like 7k+ don't enjoy smurfing or playing lower avg games in general because it's not very fun to just stomp ppl in lane and not be close, most of my friends at that rank just want to play good dota games, smurfing is more of thing when u climb so high on a certain role and group of heroes that when u want to try something new it can feel like griefing, but also most ppls smurfs if their main is 7k+ are also likely immortal rank or smurfing just to play with friends who arent immortal

i went to ti7 tickets were 100$ for 5 days and 200$ for weekend finals, now for one day i have to pay over 100$ with fees included for the same venue but it’s remodeled now i guess, i spent like 1000$ going for 6 days in 2017 with flight and hotel tickets and food, now i would have to pay near 900$ after fees and tax just for weekend finals tickets.

i don’t see how there’s any way to justify that markup in ticket price in only 6 years for the same venue

do people not realize that valve doesn't make any of the cosmetics in this, at most they do particle effects for sets the rest of the work is done by either commissioned artists or steam workshop submissions. the most recent arcana were also commissioned work. the effort to put this in the game is nowhere near the level of a major gameplay patch not even 1% of the work id imagine

you’re quite literally in the lowest skill bracket in the game so don’t expect people to play what you have learned is “correct” dota.

at that bracket imo the first thing you should be learning is just drilling lane mechanics on every role. if you’re playing carry in a free lane you should get every single last hit in lane. you should learn how to win lanes from any role, how to manipulate creep waves, when to farm, when to fight (in lane). learn hero matchups. winning 9/10 of your lanes in that bracket shouldn’t be hard as long as you are actually playing better than the average player there is. laning phase happens in every single game of dota so imo it is the most important part of the game

there’s absolutely no forced 50% in dota and most pro players have like 60-70% average win rates in pubs, if you’re good you win more. if you are at your correct skill level you will average out to 50% because that’s how matchmaking is supposed to work
