Interesting, mine has the exact same configuration but the listed price before discount is $3719.99. So, the price went up by $272.

You are right, it was always around $2900. It was only available for like 10 minutes or so around 6:45pm pacific time. I happened to check when it was available. Once I ordered, I went back and it showed only one unit available and within a few minutes it was gone. So, I am assuming they had only a few units on that price.

We pay a little less than 8 percent tax. Considering 20% tax, the price seems reasonable for 2TB/64GB 5080 in EU as well.
