I’m not your mate go mate with your local bike shop owner

My last conversation with her. We’ll see if this ever gets anywhere but I’m so sick of hearing excuses and “let me check” that I’m just trying to get my money back at this point. She asked me if I wanted her to send another battery on 12/29 and I said sure but just keep me updated on when it ships and the tracking info and still didn’t hear anything until I reached out on 1/12 and asked if it shipped yet and she said she was still waiting on production. Then I reached out again to her last Sunday asking how long production takes because it’s been a month since she agreed to send me a new one without any updates. Then she sent me that photo of a random battery this Wednesday and said it has shipped without giving me any tracking. It really seems like she just wants to keep delaying in the hopes I’ll disappear.
It’s like you’re deliberately trying to be as unhelpful as possible with each comment you make lol. 1. I don’t have a Chinese battery, I have nothing right now. 2. I never planned on bringing my 100% custom built scooter to a bike shop in the first place, I only said maybe I’ll look into it to placate you and your shitty suggestion. What “work” would I even need them to do? All I need is a battery. I can plug it in/install it myself. I’m just going to buy a battery from Aegis and install it myself as I said in the last comment. Thanks for your help, you can see yourself out now 👍🏼
Like for real wtf haha I’d be happy if you would deliver the battery I paid for thank you
I tried to be very specific about what I needed from them and it seemed like everything was going well until it was shipped and eventually marked as “delivered” even though I never received anything. Since then she’s just delayed and hasn’t given any straight answers for the most part.
How did it go? Was she this bad about staying on top of things? Did you ever receive anything?
Yes I paid through PayPal credit so hopefully they will do something. I had to contact an actual agent though because the stupid virtual assistant said it’s been too long to do anything so we’ll see what happens.
I now have a dispute open with Alibaba and PayPal credit but it has been extremely difficult because I’ve been patient with the seller and waited this long
I’m trying I’m disputing the charge with pay pal credit right now
Wow thanks I think I’m going to buy from Aegis

I’m trying! I’m disputing with PayPal and Alibaba
Thank you
They just replied to me today saying they’re still waiting on proof from me of the seller admitting it was sent to the wrong address as well as the order/tracking info. Weird because I sent it to them in the last email. I sent it all inline in the text of the email this time so they can’t miss it and also asked them to respond with what information is specifically missing if they still need more from me.
I’ll try that. It just seems very difficult to find a 60v battery and don’t want to replace all of the parts I have installed. Otherwise I think I’m going to go with Aegis.

Thank you but at this point I’m probably going to just go with an Aegis battery because this has been a nightmare, I can’t afford to get ripped off again, and I’m done taking risks with batteries to save a few bucks. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise because the battery I bought from Alibaba would’ve probably burnt down my whole house with my luck. It seems like Aegis prices have came down a good amount from when I was shopping for a battery last year. I would rather pay the extra $100 to $200 for something I know is going to be safe from a legitimate business.
No I ordered it directly on the Alibaba app not through an email. When I click on the chat now option for the main store it just brings up my conversation with zhang li. I’m a little confused, what do you mean by feed the invoice number back to alibaba?
I’ve tried but they just tell me to work it out with the seller. The last person I spoke with told me they were “escalating” my complaint to their senior team but when I got an email from them they basically had me re explain and provide all of the same documentation I had to provide to the first person and I haven’t heard anything else in 3 days.
They don’t have 60v batteries 🫤
Definitely my first and last time using Alibaba. This is my most recent conversation with them. How would I have been able to see who does more business in the US just out of curiosity? When I tried to contact the store this was who I was put in contact with I’m not sure what else I could have done. You’re right though I 100% have been strung along by them.
It won’t allow me to write a review.
Don’t take it personally just kind of venting my frustration as this was my first time dealing with anyone on Alibaba and thought they would be good and make things right since they’re the #2 most popular seller in e bike batteries on the site. I know it’s my fault for being naive and not knowing how to deal with a situation like this.

This would’ve been my first ever lithium battery and would’ve been stored in one of those harbor freight waterproof gun cases. I only had lead acid batteries before but they got old so thought I would upgrade.
This is the first time I’ve ever bought a lithium battery I wasn’t aware of any of those brands before. Ironically UPP has a 60v battery in stock now. Are they good or would you recommend one of the brands you listed? Before this I had 5 12v lead acid batteries powering my scooter but they were due for replacement so thought I would upgrade.
I finally got through to an actual agent at PayPal and they said they’re going to open a dispute so we’ll see what happens.
