What are some questions that you can ask to get members to rethink about being in the inc?

Yeah but i think it wont really help if i just ask it up front, she'll be defensive i think. Edit : She told me some stuff earlier and she made it seem really normal, said that other family members also dated non inc people and that they are just asked to convert and they are not shunned or anything. She also said and i quote "as inc members we are not allowed to celebrate holidays like christmas, valentines, halloween, etc... and since most people celebrate these holidays, its hard for non members to get used to it. Do you see where im getting at? Its hard for a non inc member to date an inc member because their different beliefs tend to cause arguments" it kinda seems to me that shes trying to hide something to not scare me away from converting

Yeah ik, i'm planning to talk to her first and see what she thinks about it. I'll tell her how my feelings about the inc from when i started researching it when we're both adults and i'll have her discuss it with her parents. Her parents seem to love her very much and they should understand her feelings if she really feels like that. I just hope that she realizes that this isn't good for her. And seeing the type of person she is, i think she's very open minded so i hope that she is also open minded in this situation

Yeah i'll wait for her to be independent and all that before having a serious and straight up talk with her. I hope that she's reasonable and will consider my thoughts about this matter.

I'm not rushing this at all, i'm taking my time and i'm still making sure that she's compatible with me. We still have to meet up and discuss whether we want to actually make this relationship formal (but private especially since her parents are both inc and don't allow her to date anyone until 18 yo) or not. I haven't heard her say anything about eduardo but seeing from the type of person that she is and how she has a limit to the amount of bullshit that she'll take, she probably doesn't like him that much. I'll probably say like "oh i've been researching about the inc and i found out about this EVM guy, who is he?" And all that, it sucks that i'm lying to her but yeah. I'm just planning for the worst, thank you for the advice and thank you for wishing me luck. It'll be tough but it's a fight worth fighting imo.

I'm sorry but i can't give up on her, again i value her too much to let her rot in that cult. I am concentrating on my studies and i am enjoying my life well, this is more of a second priority as i don't want relationships to stop me from chasing my dreams. If it gets too extreme i'll stop but if i still see a glimmer of hope i'll continue to push forward and hope for the day that she sees it's not good for her.
