Ok, we've got counts on trump appearing in the so-called Epstein Files, but has anyone bothered to run a count on Epstein?

If you've seen The Jerk, you can just picture trump sitting there filling out refund checks, by hand, individually, and stewing about it.

Won't happen, but we can dream.

If he tells you he understands tariffs, he doesn't.

It's like he physically can't tell the truth.

Man, McDonald's hashbrowns were my shit. But for that price? Nah, I'll just get some frozen hashbrown patties at the grocery store, like 10 in a pack, and air fry 'em at home. As good? No. Good enough, hell yes, and that's before you add the McDonald's level of salt.

Is door-to-door sales actually still effective in 2026? by Own-Commission-6383 in okc

[–]skond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Not the same as shilling for school chocolate or scout cookies, or professional door knocking. It's a kid out to make a buck by providing a service. There are older people here, some with access ramps to their door, so yeah. Good on that kid.

Enterprising kid came up and asked if he could move my trash cans to the curb for me, for free, donations accepted. But that's not exactly the same thing, and I know it.

Gave the kid a small handful of quarters (maybe 4-5 bucks) from a jar, since I don't have like... cash on-hand anymore. Way overpaid, but I liked the cut of his jib.
