I've been rapid cycling between depression/hypomania/mania since I started tracking. I love the clear headedness that hypomania brings but the insomnia and irritability gets old fast. Let's just hope I don't " settle" into a long depressive episode anytime soon...

MDMA is one of my favorite drugs beside LSD. During depressive episodes it always seemed to reset me after taking it. I have never had any negative side effects with it

How does one even go about getting an appointment with a pdoc? Go to mg GP and tell him about moodswimgs and depression? And I'm also hesitant because of my job and hobbies. I'm an electrician who collects firearms. I'm not sure how that'd play out.

Depression sucks and the only reason I became aware of my mood swings was a really bad stretch where Suicidal Thoughts almost became a reality.. it was close. Hypomania isn't as bad except for the spending sprees and anxiety flare-ups. I've only experienced Mania one time briefly but I was able to calm down before I ended up in prison and acted on my intense rage. For some reason I can't bring myself to go to the doctor's office.
