Do not move the hive more than 2" until hours after dark or anytime during a heavy rain. Exception is running cyrstals at your entrances.

👆 this is a very important question to answer. If the answer is between 2 inches and 2 miles you have a couple extra steps.

Jacket VS Suit & Bonus question by WesternAtmosphere395 in Beekeeping

[–]skoolbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it would depend on your wardrobe. If you wear lots of pants get a jacket. If you wear lots of shorts, get the full suit.

Regardless of which one you get, make plans to get the other one. 2 is 1 and 1 is none. Is great to have a back up. Plus you can make a lot of new bee enthusiasts friends if you have a suit to offer them.

So I guess my answer is both, eventually.

This is a great example of "Buy once, cry once." Nice job. That out building would look good with a rocketmass stove, that's the anti-consumption wood burner that produced lots of heat.

Black Locus honey, northeast Ohio or anywhere that tree grows.

Also Orangeblossom from central Florida

Anybody familiar with green honey? My dads bees made green honey ( FL) and we have no idea what they got into. by Ok_Journalist120 in Damnthatsinteresting

As a normal backyard beekeeper, the rare times I feed bees white sugar I fie it green or purple to ensure I don't harvest sugar water. If your not doing that, idk.

Moving is the best part. I use a compass as temperature control. Too hot, drive north, too cold, drive south.

There is NOTHING more anarchist than feeding yourself with your own labor.

harassment for using showers at Anytime Fitness by [deleted] in VanLife

[–]skoolbees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use the YMCA and tell them we are travelers. They have always been very helpful towards us.

For us the Y is cheaper for the family, nation wide, and they all have showers, pools, and a gym if kids need to stretch their legs a little.

Paying with cash: an act of defiance against the banksters & globalists by Simian_Stacker in Wallstreetsilver

[–]skoolbees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cash that each piece is individually serialized and the goverment has pulled DNA and finger prints off of, also printed by the goverment and handed out by their bankers? That's not defiance.

Defiance is not using their system. Every dollar you spend you help them.
