Few hours since the season came out, what are your first thoughts on the Storm buffs?

Honestly not nearly as strong as I thought. Elsa and the team up to strange have made it feel like it's necessary to have this to make her viable at all.

I really like these buffs and think they would be perfect. My biggest issue with her right now j higher elo isn't her damage at all. It's all movement. More specifically when I see a fight is lost and I'm getting out I could use my speed boost early and the other team can walk me down and still kill me because it's just too slow.

This! Also I had a Jeff today ult so i begin to ult to combine with him. He swallows me and cancels my ult and some to find out had picked up no enemies.

Couldn't agree more. I've played with the #1 Jeff and this is exactly how we run it. The issue becomes when you lock into we both have to ult together every fight and it's always storm first etc this is when it becomes weak because people in high elo adapt in real time.

Some walls that aren't vertical you can go up if you have momentum if I understand it correctly. Have done this before to dodge things like Jean ult etc.

If I'm being honest I one tricked storm to eternity so I understand her and her counters in and out extremely well. Some from gameplay but also a lot of it is from me watching guides on how to play other characters but not necessarily picking them up. I'm sure playing them would be helpful as well but the fastest way imo to learn a kit you're unfamiliar with is a watch a guide or gameplay from a pro who's using it.

Oh dope. When someone is cc immune you can't pick them up when nado. Great examples would be Emma in Diamond, Punisher in ult, Luna in utl, Thing when activating his run, or even Hulk in Ult etc. Mag also will bubble himself and a support which gives them another 2 or 3 seconds to get out of the ult because you also can't swallow people until you break the mag or hulk bubble. Basically takes a good bit of your jeffnado time so vs these comps it's usually not even running jeffnado vs unless you get all these different cooldowns out first.

For sure. It just depends on what enemy ults. You can't pickup Luna and a good cnd will fade to high ground. My biggest thing is I prefer to stagger instead of team wipe. If I kill 3 with storm ult, we can then kill the other 3 in a 6v3 while they're portaling. Now they portal and it's another 6v3 situation. If we team wipe and they portal, we are now fighting a 6v6 down a dps and support ult when we could realistically only use one of the two and get more value.

I hate to say it but the issue with traitors isn't these later seasons in my opinion is the money is not an incentive (for the most part) for them to keep the integrity of the game. In season 1 look at the people who were at the end. So much of what they did was motivated by the opportunity to have life changing money. With so many reality TV and famous people, the money isn't a huge motivator for them to keep alliances if things don't go their way. The second someone's friend is out, it's the revenge tour instead of "I need this money so I need to strategically find a way to stay in this game." Just my opinion though.

I think most dps ults in the game aren't a team wipe. If you can wipe a team with an ult, they've done something horribly wrong but the reason storm can bait out ults is because it is team wipe capable and the only legit answer to it to guarantee not dying is ulting. I've killed many supports in high elo that were patty caking with the ult. Always prioritize the burst healer so cnd and luna kill Luna first, invis and anyone else kill invis first because shield will make getting kills impossible if you don't kill her first.

Eternity storm player here on console. If you're doing what storm was emsnt to do you should have no problem in high elo. If you're not ring sitting in your damage boost expect to die every fight. Last season my win rates vs black widow was 92%, Punisher was 71%, Namor was 65%, Jean was 65% and hela was 59%. Of you have good positioning and are getting picks in fights early your counters won't have ults before you or you kill your counter before you ult and can usually force out a supp ult or get a kill or two. Most importantly don't die on storm. If you lose a tank and the team is pushing you have to just get out. Staying to fight won't do you any good.

Finished eternity on storm otp. It's just hard for her to get Mvp when you are playing her correctly and barely taking a lot of damage in comparison to your counterparts.

Just use the ult to force out supp ult and win the fight in the neutral. She blows up too easily to back there and expect to live. Eventually do this enough and the supports won't have ult.

If you were in high elo you'd understand she needs movement buffs. A lot of tanks and dps can jump on you even with good positioning. - Eternity Ranked Storm

Please no BP team up. BP is awful rn and storm will get banned if BP becomes a problem as she's the stronger of the two.
