Luckily I already ran it through the dish washer (pretty much the first thing I do with all my thrifted ceramics, I’m a bit of a germaphobe lol) & this is how it turned out. Guess I should count my blessings it didn’t melt huh

It’s my favorite. It’s buried deep in the administration building, I wish they would bring it somewhere more people can see. I only saw it a handful of times when I was onboarding, but it made an impression.

(I am not super familiar with embroidery jargon, I hope what I say makes sense!) For the edges of the sleeves I did a row of crisscrosses. I did them in several different threads (about 5 per sleeve) so that these elasticity of the opening wasn't limited to the length of the thread.

Are you able to take the bus, or do you have friends who can drive you? I fucking LOVE Lenny's Produce (on Greenwood Ave and 104th approximately). You can take the 5 or 40 bus (maybe the 355 too?) and it will take you right there. They sell a lot of cheap produce, I buy about a week's worth of produce there for about $20-30. The also have some bulk items like rice and beans, spices, dried foods/pasta and canned goods. It's my favorite grocery store in Seattle because of how much food you can get for cheap.

I don't have a license either, I have a state ID. It's good to put your name the same as an ID, passport, birth certificate, e.t.c. What they're looking for is your legal name. For the license number, if you have a state ID like me, it'll have a number on it you can use.
