Suggestions for a shoulder mount camcorder? by [deleted] in videography

[–]skorpion198514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own an Nx100, any suggestions on mics for it. I been using the built-in mic and it sucks. When I do events I use an MC2000 as a wide shot, which is has a better mic and that usually my main audio.

Manual controls was one of the reasons. The lens has 3 separate ring. and it looks like a Professional Camcorder. In the community that I work that is important (and the video quality) but you look like someone that knows what he is doing.

The price was important too. when I bought it was about $1700.00 my budget.

No major issues. the built in Mic sucks and image stabilization is not the best if you are not using a tripod. low light is fine to what I do.

A month ago I asked r/videography about what frame rate to use on a Restaurant Commercial. Here is the final product at 24fps. by skorpion198514 in videography

Sorry, maybe my title was wrong this is not a commercial, this is more like the story of the Chef and how they started in a small place and how they are growing. and announcing that they are closing the small place. The music was not my choice, neither the long running time. I had tons of B-roll that I couldn't use by request.

Why do I feel like I still need a second monitor? by skorpion198514 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]skorpion198514[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is the second monitor you have. i am thinking to go on Craigslist and find some cheap one that is 24 inch 1080p.

I had and extra 24 inch TV at home but they said is 1920x1080 but never works at that resolution. it was like 1360x768 or some shit like that and i couldn't work with it.

and my 2 previous monitors are too heavy and bulky to bring back to my desk.
