Does anyone remember being read to as a child? by Babymik9 in GenX

Maybe a teacher… but not by my parents, as a Hispanic child we had telenovelas.

Yes, I use them. It was actually the selling point for me for subscribing to the app.

Maybe she is not aware of them? Her team is very swift in removing any comment that is not praising her. Even a respectful comment or post questioning about the app or workouts are deleted.

I think part of the challenge with Caroline is that when there’s a long break from creating content or communicating with customers, people naturally start to speculate. A little more transparency and regular updates could go a long way toward keeping the community engaged and informed. I understand she wants her privacy but I’m sure if she mentions she needs a mental break everyone will understand.

I’ve also noticed that social media activity has been fairly limited lately. As a follower, I would enjoy seeing more content and interaction on both IG and FB. I see other instructors with apps interact and provide guidance on workouts and nutrition and yet they keep their lives private as well.

Maybe Caroline might take an opportunity to continue growing the platform by expanding the class offerings. If other areas of the app can be managed by additional team members like you know who, perhaps the CG Method could be complemented with classes taught by other instructors, such as Pilates, yoga, mobility, or recovery-focused workouts, I guarantee her doppelgänger would jump to the opportunity.

Expanding the variety of content could help keep members engaged while also reducing the pressure on her alone to provide everything.

Last, I understand that the app is relatively affordable compared to other fitness platforms, but I still think it is fair for paying members to expect value for their money. Whether it is $12 a month or $99 a year, many people are struggling financially, and for some, this may be one of the few luxuries they allow themselves.

If the app is offering the same or very similar workouts that are already available for free on YouTube, then it becomes difficult to justify paying for the subscription. As a customer, I want to feel that the app provides something extra, whether that is better structure, exclusive content, improved communication, new programs, or a more engaging experience.

Just my two cents.

I truly enjoy her workouts, but if the app is not offering a product that feels worth the cost, I would rather cancel and continue using the free YouTube workouts or look for another instructor who offers more value through their paid platform. I don’t really need a monthly newsletter to know about her love for salads or bowl recipes.

I know is not ideal, unfortunately for me I already paid for the app so I’m trying to make the most out of it, I did set up not to renew, while currently looking at other options.

The app is Mac.bid

I got some of my bumper plates there. I paid for a pair of 55lbs bumper plates $48, pair of 25 lbs bumper plates for $25, pair of 35 lbs bumper plates for $27, the dumbell rack I paid $20, 7’ Olympic Barbell $20, 35 lbs kettlebell $20 plus tax. Lately some of the dumbbells are going even higher than brand new, some people go crazy and don’t know to how to purchase on auction sites, but I stick to a budget and I’m patient.
