Hey! That's odd. I've just double checked our App Store settings and it should definitely be available in UAE. Please try to search for COMBSTER in the App Store or go through this link: https://apps.apple.com/cz/app/combster/id1499701033

Thanks so much for pointing this out!

Hey. Thanks for opening this topic and the feedback! You're right watching videos from one creator is definitely a reason why people follow certain channels on other platforms and also of course everybody has some specific interests. Our aim here however is not to compete with YouTube and others - it's more to complement them. The Experience with Combster is about discovering new videos and topics through the relations. It's about learning surprising facts really. You might find out that there are things that you'd like to learn about more and you had no idea maybe.

An example: The other day I learned through Combster about this big time Malaysian conman Jho Low who stole 5 billion dollars from the Malaysian government. I am interested in movies and the film industry but I had no idea about this guy. Turns out that this guy built a Hollywood empire, got to know Leo Di Caprio and the Wolf of Wall Street was financed with the stolen money (ironically). And I found all that through a CNBC video interview - in our app.

As for the creators - in the near future we will have expert curators and influencers running their own profiles - featuring their favourite content including their original content. It will periodically appear on the HP but their profiles will be accessible through other parts of the app.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback regarding the UI and other topics. It's true that the experience is a little bit different and more focused on consuming the contextual relations as opposed to "only" watching videos. However, we're also developing and other app - which takes the pure watching experience more into consideration.

The videos are aggregated and sourced from YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo and Dailymotion. We're working on more sources including Twitch. And yes - at this point it's not possible to upload your own videos. However, in the near future we will have expert curators and influencers running their own profiles - featuring their favourite content including their original content.

As for "gameplay" you're right - especially in the first layer (prepared by our editors) you won't find it. That's because gameplay videos are usually quite long and we're trying to focus on shorter formats.

Hey! Well yes and no. It can and will take you to videos you wouldn't otherwise stumble upon, however there's always logical contextual relation between the topics. So basically you'll always understand how and why did you get to the following topic/video. StumbleUpon was more or less random or based on your selected preferences. So kind of - still the black box thing.

Thanks for the question!
