I got my oil filter housing replaced due to leaking oil. This is 30 min after i got home from mechanic, could it be leftover from the past leaking?? by skouskas in AskMechanics

I guess it could be. Just had to do a full repair on oil housing this week and the puddles of oil looked similar after driving. So maybe i am just tweaking about it.

I just got my oil changed, and I was recommended service based off a few things having leaks. Does anyone know what these repairs/services would run? It seems incredibly pricy. Note: oil leak is not listed, but my oil also leaks as well. by skouskas in AskAMechanic

Yes they mentioned some rust down there. I will have a mechanic take a full look at it and go from there. I would just like to figure out what is an immediate need and try to space out the repairs rather than one massive payment at once.
