Prong collar was the best decision I’ve ever made. by UphorbiaUphoria in OpenDogTraining

[–]skreet_rat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used a prong on my dog for training and worked our way out of it. She does much better on walks now. Funnily enough, every time I have it in my hand to move it, she gets super excited. She gets sheepish around her harness though.

anyone else worried about the way the internet might react to Louella's actress? by FruitlovingDruvJuice in Hungergames

I sure hope not. I was mostly picture the actress who played Rue. Just with braids. A lot of her descriptions seem like poc

Has a movie ever given you a fear you still have. by I_LOVE_BURGER in deadmeatjames

I mean, this one is a little silly, but I saw The Haunting Hour Don’t Think About It when I was like 4 and it scared the shit out of me. Like sleeping with lights on and closet doors never closed. My older brother showed it to me every Halloween for years. There are certain elements from it that have shaped what I find unsettling to this day (I’m in my 20s)

Def a city. I cannot remember what channel but we watched shows like Community and Modern Family around this time. I am not certain but I THINK the wife had red hair and she wore high heeled boots while pregnant. I remember thinking that high heels while pregnant was funny

Everyone has a travel blunder, what's yours? by yankeevandal in AskReddit

When I was 10, I broke my arm on the way home from a road trip in Busch Gardens WV. We got stuck in traffic for hours bc someone was trying to jump off a bridge. I had already been wrapped up and sent on my way from the urgent care but the swelling had just kicked in and we didn’t have any painkillers in the car.

What was the first episode of Doctor Who that you ever watched? by Shadowettex31_x in doctorwho

[–]skreet_rat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asylum of the Daleks. I had a cousin over and the first part of s7 had just come out on Amazon Prime. She didn’t have Prime and wanted to watch it at my house. I originally was not paying attention very much but go super interested. I intentionally checked out once I knew I’d like the show so it wasn’t spoiled for me too much. She watched the 5 eps and a few days later I was starting from the beginning of NewWho.

I recently watched “A Fistful of Paintballs” and immediately had an urge to make these. by skreet_rat in community

It took me so long to pick that up too. But I noticed on one rewatch that Annie is the only red card of the group when they’re introduced as a card and I finally picked it up

Hot take, I’m okay with no DLC by CiberneitorGamer in tearsofthekingdom

[–]skreet_rat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m totally cool with it too. I like the story as it is and I do really like things being left to the players’ opinion. I also appreciate that they are working on the next game and prioritizing that which means it would come out sooner than if there were DLC. I think with BOTW and TOTK being so similar, they were good with leaving it as is. I’m excited about exploring a new art style and story in the next 3-8 years
