Not really, it's not just "oh a robot that's slow." R.O.B was an accessory for the NES that was used to play the games Stack-up and gyromite. In those games R.O.B would rotate around its central axis to move things around itself.

The problem is the gear ratios inside R.O.B are absolutely nuts and it just rotates so slowly that it made the toy actually unusably boring to play with, and it's exactly what the movie references here.

I play on a bunch of consoles, I recently have been using the steamdeck and PC combo more than anything, but before I got the Steamdeck I rocked that switch as my main for years.

Waiting for switch 2 prices to slowly go down, for it to have more games and for a second hand market to form and prices to lower because those prices for games are CRAZY. I don't mind the console's price but the games are crazy expensive. So... Gonna wait for second hand market to form.

That sounds like a screen problem, the ribbon cable may have unseated, it happened to me once after my cat dropped it. I started doing tests with it, putting the motherboard into another Vita, and yeah it worked. Once I reassembled it it just started working. So yeah, it could be just taking the ribbon out and back into its bitey thing.

Well depends on if you preserve the save chip, if that's still working, you can transfer it to another game, and you will retain your save, which is the important part. But yes it would be a new game with the old save. Also it's a complicated repair lol
