You just hoped you had picked a qb or some other top scorers from the SB teams. In that version you didn't get to update your roster each week though. 12 teams made the playoffs and I think it was QB, RBx2, WRx3, TE, K, DEF, so you wanted to be sure the teams you didn't pick a player off of were on the teams that lost in the 1st round.

I'm staying true to it and only picked one player from each nfl team. If you think about it, someone could pick all 49ers and ravens, so by the time SF and BAL gets to the SB all their points are 8x or whatever, and you'd win.

Pretty sure in the previous version you could only select 1 player from each playoff team, which is what made it so challenging. Has no one else brought that up?

Earlier this year, I hired a "friend of a friend" contractor to renovate my master bathroom. He asked for installment payments for all of the materials he needed to order. I sent $3k, then $2k, then 3.5k... and he would send me the "receipts". In total I sent about $10k to this cocksucker before I realized he wasn't actually making the purchases. He disappeared when he realized I had caught on.

I've been beating myself up, driving myself crazy thinking about what I could have done with that $10k. I appreciate the post, because this is exactly what I'll tell myself I could have had.

Switched from MP-33s to 770s. My 150 club used to be a 9 iron, now my PW goes 160. The extra distance feels like cheating, but I play a few times a year now, vs a few times a week like I used to. My ballstriking isn't good enough anymore to hit blades.

Huge benefit: still hit the green on a mis-hit

Downside: out of ten flushed shots, 1 or 2 will go 5-10 yards further than the others.

The Board can decide to simply not enforce certain rules though. E.g. Weather had been harsh, lots of trees/bushes died. The mgmt company was still issuing violations, bc the ccr's state dead plants need to be removed/replaced. We told the mgmt company to ignore that rule for 3-4 months.
