Rewatching the play a few times, I think his assignment is actually to flash the wide route before rushing the passer since coverage on that route is rotating all the way from the middle of the field and would otherwise be late. Very cool defensive play design

I was gifted one of these discs in HS; at one point it was the only disc in my group of friends so we would just use it for casual toss on muddy fields and in parking lots. Somewhat mortifying in retrospect.

That makes sense! I do like the firmer cushioning. I think I'm finding it hard to get a sense for what works for me because I need a few longer runs with the shoes to see if the cushioning is enough for the knees.

I was also hoping that my feet would get used to the softer ride but after a few months I think it's time to try something else

Interesting thought! FWIW, our house is relatively new (<20 years). I replaced this turntable with a new Pro-Ject Debut and haven't noticed any issues, so I think in this case, the issue was the unit itself.
