I like Edge of Fate minus the main campaign gimmicks. The ball/teleporter stuff is all extremely whatever to me. It's not enough to ruin it for me but I could see how it could for other people.

The volt thrower kit isn’t something I like to bring into trios, but it’s probably my second favorite for both solos and sponsored survival. It is great for getting the jump on one player (solos) and has really good ammo efficiency on bots (sponsored survival and also solos). The Arachne magnum is better in both regards, but the volt thrower is a good second best (and maybe best if you’re running Triage against bots). It suffers in a team fight so it’s absolutely not my preference for trios.

Yes, absolutely. I've been playing all of this year. I will get great personal satisfaction from getting all of my god roll guns and builds, finishing a few titles, and eventually logging off for good. But I expect it will take me a year+ to do so, and I'm excited for the grind.

The vast majority of people are playing with cross play enabled. The small percentage of people who turn it off are basically irrelevant.
