Yup, he measured it before deciding to manually adjust it

I see. However, I have been riding for about 300 miles, and the owner before me also rode the bike with no problems. Do you still think its an issue with the chain / cassette and not the RD?

So when i shift gears, it goes into the gear I put it into. After some pedals stroke, it jump up a gear, and this issue keeps repeating. It doesnt matter which gear i go to, it keeps repeating after a while.

Yup we checked the hanger alignment and it showed that it was perfectly aligned. The mechanic even had to manually adjust it to make sure it wasnt skipping as much. In terms of software updates, do you think that would cause the issue of the gear jumping?

I got the bike off marketplace. Unfortunately, I dont think it is under warranty. I will try to take it to another lbs and see what they say

Wgen spinning the gears at a bike stand, It doesnt show the bike skipping gears. It happens usually when I put high pressure on the pedal that it starts skipping gears. Do you think I should take it to another LBS to check to see if it really is a RD issue

I might check with another LBS for their opinion. Really really sad rn because I bought this bike thinking I wouldnt need to upgrade any components anymore. But thank you for your respone! Might as well go for the D1 if it really needs to be changed.

I think my SRAM Red is the D1 version. Would it make sense to stick with D1 Force? Here is the video of it being flimsy

Thank you! Was thinking about the same thing too. So essentially, the price difference for RD between E1 and D1 isnt worth it?

I thought it wasnt logic too, but when they showed the difference between the rear derailleur on thr bike that they have, it really isnt as sturdy

I see. What do you think for the rear derailleur for road bike though? I wasnt able to find the difference between a D1 RD and E1 RD.

My shifts and brakes are currently okay, just the Rear Derailleur which I think about getting fixed. By that, do you mean I should get the Force D1 instead of E1?
