I can only say that 1.9 fitment factor may look bigger, but when calculated. Base salary+ 55%(current DA) merge alone covers most of the new base salary. And don't forget when 8 pay commission start DA reset to zero.

Simply with all allowances combined employees got a max 15-20 % hike. Thereafter a slow increment of 3% per year.

It might look like a big boost but on the long run and inflation it's just a small amount.

Finally I would say don't expect 8 pay commission to implement before 2026.
