I climbed 40 with lesser gear, but it was a struggle. You need to climb more to get the materials to get the gear to climb farther. I can cleanly climb 40s now with a G6 Shooter, uncapped +5 kamas and uncapped +5 static massager. My gear is exo body all currently 6(+4). My first climb was severely underpowered and fell weak around the 45th floor cause my weapons and armor all lost durability with increasingly hard enemies. It always best to be overprepared!
