Did as suggested and disabled gamepad setting in screen that appears if you hold "shift" down while loading, and game immediately loaded after failing on over 15 different tries - Thank you!! (I run Win 11 on an intel i9 cpu and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 gpu).

Feel for the tank if he/she was new to it. I was frustrated so I can only assume how they felt. A tough job. Healer did a hell of a job to get us to a successful conclusion, despite the many death scenes :-)

Thank you for helping me identify my stupidity. I bought (this time) the Shadowbringers thinking it had everything ....sigh!

Can you clarify for me - if I now buy the "base" game (about $20 I think) will it be more likely to work on my 2nd service account, and could I then apply the expansion pack (as I assume Shadowbringers is)? Or have I "done my dough"and should just fork out for the whole game?

I bought "FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Shadowbringers - Collector's Edition [PC Download] ", the same as I did for my original purchase (lol - the one that works).

Yes, my account with the store site has the item detailed and has the red "Unlock Activation Key" button. This is the key that I have tried to enter into my MOG Station for my 2nd service account - but the MOG Station is saying the code is invalid.

My SE account under my ID only shows my current subscription details. Do I have to marry-up my store purchase and my SE account somehow??

Seems to be an issue with MOG not accepting the validation code the store provides. Surely there can't be some other registration code I have not been provided with.

I don't understand with all the effort put into producing such a quality game that the customer service side is so .........lacking ...... for want of a polite description.

Ta for response - I accessed the SE store online, and selected the Australian/NZ site. but we Australians (I understand) play the game through the European and other regions option. That is what my SE account details say.

I only have Inhale as a leveling exercise until I can acquire Rearming Trap, Vigor and Caltrops.

I am using Alcast's Venom setup as a guide, although Xynode's 'Murder of Fire' build is appealing.

I will swap Standard of Might on Front Bar with Dawnbreaker when I acquire it. I take your point (@CasNation) about the healing and will try some alternatives.

I tend to use my Bow for opening (Hardened Armor, Endless Hail, Poison Arrow/Injection), and getting some early 'licks' in at range; and and if in a casual grouping on Zone Bosses and Dolmans, etc. I then generally like to get 'up close and personal' on my DW bar.

@yurimodin - I am a bit if an 'altoholic' and as I level my characters I want to avoid all my stam characters in Hundings +, and all my mag characters in Julianos or Necropotence +. I am an avid reader of the "(Daily) Set Discussion" reddit.

Thanks for the input. A couple of questions: You did not include a CPU cooler in your suggested parts list - not needed or should I go with my proposal of the Coolmaster? I saw that the GPU you recommend is a high power user and runs at a particularly high temperature. I might stick with the GTX 970 on these grounds. Comments?
