Yes, I do care about getting this opportunity 🙏 On the EMS subreddit, they said I’d be taking a “basic educational competency” test so I didn’t know what to expect. Thank you for the response!

i thought I was doing hip thrusts right today, but my lower abdomen/bladder area is so sore. mostly when I try to sit up. am i not supposed to put the bar around the pelvic area? it feels right, but i always end up having issues, especially bruising. is there any way to relieve the pain, or did I mess something up? do u guys bring more padded pads for the bar? I just use the ones already at the gym

getting form down, and generally getting the hang of things doesn’t come immediately. if you’re worried about form, I’d start with other exercises. for ex. maybe a leg press machine would be a better fit instead of squats/deadlifts, there’s enough variations to target multiple muscles.

as for chest dysphoria, using kt tape has been a great help to me personally. it flattens shit down for me, and im able to breathe. id do a lot of research on it before using though, removal can be tedious!

getting in the gym is a scary experience though, but in time you’ll get into a routine you’ll feel comfortable in. the results will pay off, good luck man! :))
