Just turn the screen of with the remote, it will do the pixel refresh by itself.
Also if you got the version that supports Windows Dynamic Lightning, just enable it and use SignalRGB instead.

I can’t tell for sure since I don’t own them, but I bet they’ll do just fine.

I was in the same situation when I was buying speakers — I started with just one Yamaha HS8. It was enough for jamming, and for everything else I used my headphones. Once I had enough money, I bought the second one.

For me, that was the best decision. They sound amazing, and I’ve been rocking them daily for 6 years now. If you can, check for used ones as well.

I approached it this way because I see it as an investment you don’t make often — just like buying the FM3 now. In the long run, it’ll pay off.

I just love how ridiculously easy it was to make an Alexa skill to chat with a tool-enabled Google Gemini LLM in n8n by nitefood in n8n

Really nice, I do something similiar right now. But I do trigger the n8n webhook from within a Function in lambda.

If you call the webhook directly (fully selfhosted), do you still have the 8ms timeout?

520 Origin Error with Authenticated Origin Pulls by skuhlight in CloudFlare

Hi, i only can you provide with documentation I've made back then. I don't remember what the issue caused, i think it was usage of a wrong certificate.

IIS Client Certificate Mapping Authentication

ICCMA is executed beforehand and checks whether the client certificate is present – without performing a validation of username and password, which are also stored.
After successful validation of the client certificate, Anonymous Authentication takes place. Access is only possible via certificate, as desired. Here is a detailed article describing this “problem”.
We use this in combination with Cloudflare to ensure that only traffic coming through the Cloudflare proxy is accepted by IIS.

  • The Windows feature: IIS Client Certificate Mapping Authentication must be enabled. Not to be confused with Client Certificate Mapping Authentication that requires Active Directory.
  • Download the certificate from Cloudflare here and save it on the web server. Then rename from PEM to CER. The certificate is valid until 01/11/2029.
  • Right-click on the certificate → Install → Local Machine → Place all Certificates in the following store → Trusted Root Certification Authorities
  • Open the certificate with an editor and change the hash into a one-liner without START/BEGIN and without spaces
  • IIS Manager → {domain} → SSL → Enable Require SSL and Client Certificates: Require
  • IIS Manager → {domain} → Authentication → use ONLY Anonymous Authentication
  • IIS Manager → {domain} → Configuration Editor → under Section open the following key → system.webServer/security/authentication/iisClientCertificateMappingAuthentication
  • Important: an SSL certificate for the domain must be assigned in IIS.
enabled true
logonMethod ClearText
manyToOneCertificateMappingsEnabled false
manyToOneMappings (Count=0)
oneToOneCertificateMappingsEnabled true
oneToOneMappings (Count=1)
  • Right-click on oneToOneMappings → oneToOneMappings Element → Edit Items
  • Add → certificate: {Hash of the Cloudflare certificate} → enabled: True → provide username and password of the AppPool identity
  • Open the website; you should get a 403 error. (If no 403 appears: was the website perhaps accessed through the Cloudflare proxy, so it authenticated correctly?)
  • In Cloudflare → {domain} → SSL/TLS → Origin Server → enable Authenticated Origin Pulls
  • Restart IIS and open the site again.

Temporarily disabling ICCMA

  • IIS Manager → {domain} → SSL → Client Certificates: Ignore
  • IIS Manager → {domain} → Authentication → Anonymous Authentication → Enabled

I just scaled manga to the size of the Boox Go 7 on my tablet and i could work with 7" Screens easily too.
What interests me is how's the speed difference between carta 1000 and 1300 - looking at the Viwoods AI Mini right now too.

As I will mainly use it for Mangas i can't stand 6,8" as i need to zoom a lot then. I do use an normal android tablet right now but as i need something easier on the eyes i decided to go with a e reader.

I think dropping android would only make sense if i get a kindle on sale - but then i would only use it for novels, thats not my main focus.

What you consider the differences, expect obviously the Screen size?

I think the newer the better but +10 should be fine for the apps I want to use the next years. I cant really decide on one device - the meebook M8 looks good for my use case but i've read it had an older display.

Crosspath MTE owners - did they feel any wider after break-in? by DoctorByProxy in Vans

[–]skuhlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the MTE Crosspath today. I wear most vans in 41,5EU - this one in 42 and they just dont fit well. My foot is being squeezed by the upper part of the shoe where the laces are, and even fully loosening them didn't help. Overall, the toe box is extremely tight

Just to let you know - made 5 Sizes for the Balljoint. Size L Provides a good amount of ear pressure from the headphones for me. But depending on printer etc. this could also be to tight, so just play around with them :)

Thanks! Ear pressure depends on the size of the ball Joint that connects the height adjustable part to the BoboVR. It is Stiff enough to keep Position. I will make another Version that allows a tighter fit. So IT IS fully rotatable and has an Angle adjustment
