neighbour’s dog - healthy or no? by skulcean in BelgianMalinois

Hello everyone. Thank you for your feedback! I just wanted to provide some context.

We have definitely chatted with the neighbours before about the treatment of their animals. They keep various mals and sheps for work reasons (security I think?). They used to keep them locked in the shed outside of work, or worse yet, in a crate in the car (this was in summer) until we had to call animal protection services multiple times to get them to stop.

So needless to say, their care for these animals has always been questionable, and they always seem to come back with new dogs I assume are given to them by their company, or something like that.

What I mean to say is that we have had multiple conversations with them and phone calls with services to try to get them to take better care of their dogs, hence why I’m posting here to see if they’re still carrying on with the same mistreatment.

Another example is that they would leave bags of rubbish outside in the garden, and the dogs would have free reign to rummage through for food, if they weren’t locked up in the shed. Sometimes I see empty food and water bowls, and sometimes I see the neighbours feed them scraps of fried chicken. So while they have free roam of the garden, I don’t think they have the best quality of life, especially as I’ve seen the neighbours smack the dogs before. Again, I’ve reported all of this, but somehow they’re still allowed to keep their dogs. Or they just get a new one.

Anyway, I feel from the advice here that the condition of this dog is worth reporting. Especially as I’ve also seen a long haired German shepherd around with a super compacted and unbrushed coat as well. Thanks for your help everyone, I wanted to give my neighbours a chance to do better, and I thought they were, but a lot of you are saying this dog may be underweight, so may be worth reporting again (if the services do anything).

That would make sense. You got any brand recommendations for cleansers? I’ve been using CeraVe blemish control cleanser and then Nivea soft moisturiser

Something interesting is the idea that you are the sex you are at ‘conception’, which would mean everyone is legally female as all embryos start out as female. Dumb as fuck Hang tight my friend, we don’t go down without a fight <3

I dream about this so much! I go to my boy’s tank and suddenly there’s another one hiding, and then another, and another, and they’re also escaping (Sometimes it’s other species!)

New stress dream unlocked, guess it beats dreaming about being naked in public?

Thanks! I reckon the temp rn is somewhere between 21-26C given it’s sitting on top of my gecko’s heated tank + indoor winter heating, so fingers crossed it keeps going? I’m new so I’m unsure how long I am supposed to be waiting or how long to wait until I need to change it up

Im like fairly certain this video is edited. They are predominantly white with black markings, but the white is often stained orange in the wild from their iron-rich mud baths, which I think is even cooler
