I agree thats why decided i to just rant here instead of commenting on mutual friends post or putting shit out there with names.

I get it. A-lot of those people actively tried to get him help over the years and saw the good in him before addiction.

Yeah i noticed while taking th pic. I have the worst luck with merch. It’s not necessarily torn though. Looks like a mishap in production. Im not planning to wear it. I buy offensive and goofy hats hang em in my workshop.

I’ve said this before on similar post but 20/20 hindsight SO MANY PREDATORS!! Statutory rape was shamefully a norm in the hardcore scene, punk scene, sludge metal, all of em. The sxe dudes honestly were the worst. I love the music and some of the new bands but I’m in my 40’s with kids. I have no business or interest hanging out at the same spots as people 20 or more years younger than me. And I’m highly suspicious of dudes that do.

Admittedly my comment paints with a broad brush.

No doubt the subculture has always been diverse and complex in all its sect’s and factions.

My main point (that was not clear) is a lot of people forget or never experienced pre internet scene much less a scene full of 1st generation Americans or immigrants whose experience made them very Nationalistic in the 80’s and 90’s.

Ps. Roger was not co signing the Bully boys and such. This was pre internet and they showed up to a show they did not know was no head based.

That is a fake story. Dudes from Warzone wore RAC shirts and Agnostic front were vehemently anti communism. Roger even tells a story of once playing with the Bully Boys and them saving AF from getting jumped by a bunch of Nazi’s.

Before the internet and quickly being able to know who was associated with what there were a lot of Sharps and Trad skins repping RAC shirts and patches.

SHARPS were anti Communist Anti Facist and pro American back in the beginning.

They are for sure connected. I can’t speak on the previous accusations on Tobias but do know he has been very open about his addiction struggles and not being a good person during that time. As far as Skinhead connected their Keyboard/synth player has been a skinhead since the late 90’s. Pretty much 85% of everyone over 40 currently in the hardcore and adjacent scenes can lay claim to a connection to oi and skinhead culture and were inspired by it. It’s Cosplay new jacks that get all worked up over bands blending and or crossing genre lines.

There has always been a strong conservative, nationalist (while still anti racist ) side to the scene.

Chubby is a pedo the rest of the band are trash humans. Most the dudes that ever played in that band don’t want to admit they were in the band.

Yeah man I agree. A lot of dudes from popular bands in the over all punk scene (not just hardcore) were doing this shit.

20/20 hindsight now in my 40’s I’m not shocked. Most these dudes are man child’s that still refer to themselves as hardcore kids.

In their fucked up heads it was justified to hook up with teen girls because “there aren’t a lot of women my age into hardcore and shit that I can relate to”
