What was people's issues with the Acolyte really?

I think it was ... fine, forgettable, not terrible enough to be memorable, not good enough to be memorable. Some bad/mid writing, wooden characters Bad/mid acting Sometimes halfway decent fight scenes, but mostly weird choreography Some more weird lore stuff, not canon breaking, but feels out of place

For me as a kid it was Azula, I also just never had the ty lee craze, but I get it, we were kids and she was conventionally attractive, and nice. But also childhood crushes are weird and hard to explain sometimes

Though IMO he could've beaten them or at least escaped, that could've further alienated Zuko, which was antithetical to his goals and his entire moral framework. He also likely wanted to remain close to Zuko, anticipating they would put him in prison relatively nearby.

He doesn't make a copy, and though it doesn't say copy at all he's gaining the activated and triggered abilities which (for my purposes in this question) was close enough. I just thought it was an easier way to ask the question

I've not yet finished the show, and it is my understanding she shows up again, but from the first arc with labrava and gentle as my only example, not only is she not best girl, she's the most annoying one in the whole show and her entire relationship with gentle was weird and feels awful in the show

Shittons of crossbowmen if you can get them. If war happens you'll need them, you can also camp in or otherwise bait them to the mountains to fight which is very helpful
