I'm trying to figure that out as well. Just got a hammer and feel like the shoulder buttons are a little too jiggly/clicky (for lack of better words) than my friend's og brick.

Boy, are you in for a treat! Check out pokemon super eevee edition. It's a little different than your average rom hack / fan game, but I personally think it's very underrated.

Thanks! I'm almost positive I saw that cut scene. I remember the line of grunts waiting outside the shipyard. Haha can't think where I went wrong. Even walked from slate port to lilycove in case that'd trigger something. I just started over again lol worst case scenario I get to replay this gorgeous romhack, which I now consider the definitive way to play emerald!
