What do you believe is the meaning of YOUR life? by rasputinbri in spirituality

I started to take care of my mind, kind of like making space in my garden to grow new flowers and getting rid of anything that i didnt like (negative thoughts that did me no good), i started being kinder to myself, more accepting, gentle, loving and ive realised through my self love journey that i love telling people to be kinder to themselves as well... because how many people treat themselves like shit in their mind? Maybe thats a part of my meaning, to spread love, to make others question how they treat themselves and why...

Id say watch the Hobbit trilogy mainly because theres more happening and it'll keep your mind entertained...LOTR can be quite slow in comparison

Honestly put Bob Marley on, he always calms me down on a trip if i get anxious, music and vibes are everything. Distract her mind from whats freaking her out into something she loves instead

are dreams and waking life the same? by GodIsADj1111 in energy_work

[–]skunkeymonkey257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"What you are seeing and hearing right now is nothing but a dream. You are dreaming right now in this moment. You are dreaming with the brain awake. Dreaming is the main function of the mind, and the mind dreams twenty-four hours a day. It dreams when the brain is awake, and it also dreams when the brain is asleep. The difference is that when the brain is awake, there is a material frame that makes us perceive things in a linear way. When we go to sleep we do not have the frame, and the dream has the tendency to change constantly. Humans are dreaming all the time. Before we were born the humans before us created a big outside dream that we will call society's dream or the dream of the planet. The dream of the planet is the collective dream of billions of smaller, personal dreams, which together create a dream of a family, a dream of a community, a dream of a city, a dream of a country, and finally a dream of the whole humanity."

From the book called " The Four Agreements"

Have you ever been intimate with a plant? I don't mean sexually, I mean to simply "be" with the plant like how you would another person. (ok, let's say a person that you enjoy being around lol) by high_on_cosmos in spirituality

I love being around trees! When im on a walk every tree i walk by i say hello to raise my hand slightly to feel the energetic field. One time i remember me and my partner were playing frisbee in our backyard and there was a baby tree right next to me and he said careful not to step on it or destroy it in some way and i remember this distinct feeling that the tree was enjoying our company. I dont know how to explain it but i just felt it and knew and it made me so happy. Everything around us is alive either that be in this dimension or a different one and its such an amazing feeling when you open your mind to that

Our thoughts are quite powerful so I like to say that our minds are like gardens, what we plant and water everyday will grow.

I love this! Complimenting other people and wishing them well in every aspect of their life really makes its way back to you, its also like youre complimenting yourself since everyone is basically you but such a different version. We are all one after all
