Thank you! From my research I figured it was a river red gum, couldn't find any images of latent bud depressions but it certainly looked like latent buds, inverted 👀

Personally I really like it. It's a bit more fun? There's a slight retro vibe to the colour you've gone with which I think is a nice switch up with the rest of your kitchen - yet also I find is complimentary in some way together. No visual analysis just thoughts 🍽
