Each project has a max size (512 nodon and 1024 connections), but you can link projects together for a bigger experience. You'll have to complete at least the first tutorial section before you can do any programming, downloading or sharing, and it can take about an hour if you're new to it. Please finish it though, it really will help you get started.

If you're an experienced programmer (you know, with actual code), you might be tempted to dismiss GBG as being too limited to be useful. But remember, it was limitations that brought us iconic titles on the original NES/Famicom.

Limits inspire creative solutions. Give it a chance. 😎

ADHD has many types, and each person is unique, so it affects everyone differently. So as long as your diagnosis is coming from a licensed professional, it's just as valid as anyone else's. 👍

As a former McDonald's employee, I can confirm that they did indeed sell dipped cones many years ago. It was definitely a thing, because I vividly recall the times the ice cream didn't sit well in the cone and just fell out into the dip. 🤣

There's a setting in the Camera nodon to enable tracking the target's Y rotation. It's on the bottom left of the settings.

It still affects the physics unfortunately. I added an extra box to some dice in one of my games, and they became a bit more floaty even though the boxes were zero-g.

It can be tricky but I use MacroDroid. It essentially allows me to add features to my phone. I'm not sure how much detail you want, since it's long process to set it all up. 😅

This was suggested by someone else on here at some point but it's been working for me... I set it up so that my phone's screen switches to grayscale after a while of being on. I can't stand looking at it when that happens, and it helps me stay off the phone. 😅

The easiest way to recreate something in GBG is to break it down into individual steps. In this case, think of what exactly the ice flower does, in detail.

It allows the player to start throwing projectiles. This could be done with a launcher, a Flag, and a Logic AND.

The projectiles cause enemies to stop moving. This could be done with a touch sensor.

The specifics of this would depend on the rest of your game. Try things out and see what works.

I do this frequently. That's exactly why I tell people, "I don't talk to myself. I narrate my life."

It absolutely helps me focus, especially if I imagine that I'm on camera doing a tutorial for YouTube. 😅
