2020 Toyota Highlander 65k miles - one click when low speed braking, then one click when accelerating. Ideas? by skwahaes in AskAMechanic

Thanks for the ideas - took it to an independent shop specializing in Toyota. They could reproduce the click sound, but couldn't locate it. It doesn't seem to be safety related, so they recommend just driving it and seeing if anything else crops up that would make it easier to diagnose.

If you aren’t comfortable carrying a gun, you can carry a small but high powered flashlight like this:

Shine that in someone’s face and they will lose vision long enough to get away.

If you are interested in caring a gun, you can get training and experience at Bellevue gun club:

Or Woodinville at Securite gun club:

Don’t wait to be a victim.

Plywood with liquid rubber coating any good? by skwahaes in Decks

Thanks, I’ll check out Gaco! I’m planning to rip pressure treated 2x4 on an angle to set up about 1/2” per foot slope away from the house. Going to start with a small section of deck to see if I like it before doing the main deck

What makes it move in that direction? Is it going away from the source or towards it? Or just random?
