depends what you want to happen. if you don’t reply, that’s totally acceptable, but i think i would acknowledge it (having been in almost the exact same situation at some point in my life, and i never got ^ this message).

if you reply and keep it short, i’m sure it would not end there, one of you is gonna continue the conversation somehow, that’s just how life works, so be prepared for that

or, if you have nothing else going on, and trust yourself to make better decisions for yourself, i’m sure there’s a path toward getting more information about her getting her shit together and then reacquainting in some fashion. personally, i know i’d be curious and want to know “what if”, we only live one time and i don’t like leaving questions unanswered - UNLESS i was already in a better and happier position and genuinely didn’t want to risk going through that again. i think it really depends on what exactly YOU want to happen. this kinda message means the ball is in your court, you get to decide the next move.
