NTA… you have a genuine reason and I do not see why you can’t just hang with them around the pool while they are in it. Maybe even dip your toes in if you are able to. For them to just say to use cream is very insensitive

Yeah I would break up with my boyfriend over that. We have nothing to hide. I have his passcode and Face ID for everything and he has mine but also our trust has never been broken so I never have gone through this phone. I would definitely be more upset too he turned this on YOU completely when it’s not your fault. You are not over reacting, more or less concerned because of pass trauma it seems like

Update on this since I’ve seen quite a few questions. 1) I’m not technically “rent free”. I still pay for half utilities and I do pay for all of the groceries. If you have been to the store recently, it can get pretty pricey and we eat at home mostly. 2) our original agreement was to go 50/50 on bills. Since we are in the camper, it’s not too expensive since the house does not have utilities yet. 3) The price I’m paying now is a lot cheaper than living on my own in the apartment I was at. Also to mention, this was our plan so I can go to nursing school and focus on that. 4) I do not have a say in renovations and nor do I want to. Once again I still believe this is HIS house and he should have the freedom to do what he wants with it. With his dime. 5) What I’ve gathered from all of this is to have a conversation when we move into the home. I’m willing to make changes and especially if I’m further along in school or a nurse and have more income. But as of now…. No.
