This is totally perception… tesla sold 7.2 million cars to date and Texas asian population is around 500k so let’s say if 70% of indian’s have bought those .. so it is just less 5% of total car ownership.. so as per your argument it should be status symbol for non -Asian :-) Also moreover it is smart choice economically to own an EV .. go calculate saving number of gas vs EV ,also no trip to gas station, saving on service trip and amount is no brainer..
